Make sure they give you enough anaesthetic and, trust me, you won't feel a thing. It's after it's worn off, then large whisky or vodka!

£ 400 annual road tax is taking the piss! I spend more on petrol on one tank than most people in their 1.6litre spend in a month. Is that not enough tax for these thieving scum. It has bugger all to do with the environment, it is just another stealth tax to pay for the other labour party cock ups!

£ 400 road tax, £ 300 to park in Richmond and £ 25 congestion charge. Hey ho, that money, which I have already paid tax on, will no longer go back into the economy.

"Oh, he looks like he has money", "I am jealous, lets tax the bastad!"

It will be back to the 70's when the combined top tax rate was 98% and the government wondered why all the money and brains went offshore. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

......and watch the value of your motah drop. Seriously considering getting rid of my RR. I only use it for towing the boat and with the tax going up it looks cheaper to leave the boat on a mooring, even factoring in the cost of extra anodes and antifoul

6 months today since our 'off'. Sad Thought we would be further on physically than we are. Ian has got to go to see his consultant tomorrow & we are pretty sure its gonna be more surgery as he still can't put his foot flat on the floor. Rolling Eyes
Also got a letter from the solicitors today saying that 3rd party is denying liability! FFS it was a straight stretch of road, we were well within the speed limit & he was coming towards us & decided to do a right turn in front of us ....

I've had a pretty shitty week so far. Monday was at the County Court for a civil case that I started 18 months ago. Expected judgment to be finally made, judge had left her notes at home so we were sent off with absolutely NO progress made.

Got home to find a brown envelope with a summons for that flashing light that got me in in Brighton in November.

But this morning has really topped things off for me. Got a phone call from the vet's surgery round the corner, someone brought in one of my little cats, who'd been hit by a car. And she didn't make it. She was only two, a lovely little thing, and her sister who we also have has been looking for her to play with today. I've cried buckets over this, and over having to tell my kids that the cat was dead. We got her and her sister Chocolate to help the family through a particularly traumatic period and I didn't cry as much over all that stuff as I have done today.
Bye bye Muffin. Lovely little cat.

You should receive a NIP within 14 days of a speed camera offence - outside 14 days....No offence.... http://www.pepipoo.com/NIP.htm

Sorry to hear the rest of your news BTW.

They are allowed more time if they had to track you down first. That, of course does not apply if it's your vehicle and it's registered at your address.

Nearly 4 months seems a bit excessive though.

The 200 quid extra on his road tax will be nothing compared with the 2 grand extra he'll be paying on petrol Laughing
