Think they are bullshitting you there mate - the court could subpoena you if they felt it necessary, i.e. your evidence was pivotal - but in most cases the defence wouldn't want to run a case with a "hostile" witness. It would only be if you failed to appear when subpoenaed that you would be in contempt of court and could be arrested.

Well it was yesterday really, applied for my Tax on line last week, but it stated there was a prob with my insurance! Dug out the paperwork to trudge off to the post office and realised that the insurance co had not issued new certificate with change of plate on it. Phoned them up and got a lame apology re failing to send out new certificate. But what else can they do, just seems a bit of a co-incidence that MIB have not got details for the on-line service with DVLA as well !

They managed to send renewal out with change of plate on it last week. i did have great pleasure in informing them that i found insurance with lower excess and all other add ons they were offering £160 cheaper Laughing

They then re-qouted and got it down but only by £61 from their previous qoute, at which point i aksed why they couldn't have done this in the first place, suffice to say i will be parting company with CN Rolling Eyes

I did not know your bike had gone. Did you sell it? If so, I may as well sell mine. No point in me having a bike if I cannot follow you around the track Laughing
