Riding along minding my own business on the way to work.
Hear sirens, look in mirror and see a nice Police car indicating for me to pull over....
Went to the hard shoulder and prepared for the worst.....get off bike, remove helmet, stare at floor...
Policeman gets out of car, walks over eyeing bike up and says in a very friendly voice "did you know your front tyre looks slightly flat?"
Tells me there is a service station up the road and to check the pressure, then chats about bikes for 5 minutes before going on his way.
So there are some nice copper's out there! _________________ I have two words for you: Seek help! |

I remember breaking in my new BKS 1 piece race suit years ago by wearing it and then spending hours on my rowing machine
broke in leathers nicely and helped me lose a few pounds to
did sweat like a pervert in a childrens home though _________________ The Stevie Wonder of rideouts!

An awsome trackday at Brands GP today. I did this as a tester to see how the old ticker held up and it did fine, although I was more exhausted than any other day I have been on. I could only do four sessions.
Why was this so good? I was bumped up into the fast group and normally I would say no, but I thought this time go for it. The speed of the guys was magnetic and pulled me around. I can honestly say I could hold my own amongst them, albeit I was probably in the bottom third of the group for pace. For evey three that overtook me, I would overtake one other.
Right hand knee slider is no longer a virgin and was regularly touching down in Druids, Clearways and a couple of times at Hawthorn. It was like busses, I wait three years and then several hits come along at once. Every time the slider touched down, I picked it up very quickly wondering WTF was happening!
A couple of wheelies (also my first) coming out of Surtees up the hill and I was was a happy and very tired bunny.
I have never ridden so fast before and whilst this may still be behind the quick guys and gals on here, I don't care, today I was a riding God!
I can happily retire from track days now. |

Plucked up the courage today to phone two jobs I'd applied for to ask for feedback on why I hadn't been shortlisted...
...first one said 'we haven't got the shortlist back yet'
...and the second one said 'actually, you have been shortlisted, we just haven't decided on a date for the interviews yet'
...perhaps its time to ditch the pessimistic attitude?? |
