I think he should have tried to get a ride at Gresini. I can't see Tech 3 having the same support as Rossi and Lorenzo. It's meant to be a factory team next year, but it will still be second fiddle to Fiat.
Good luck to him, I hope we finally have a Brit on a decent bike in the top class.

Whether it's good or not remains to be seen, career wise a shit or bust brave one... recent history hasn't been that good for brit ex superbike types moving to MotoGP. I wish him luck Laughing

Are there any changes to the Tyre rules next year? That's one of the things I've heard moaned about is the limit to how many tyres can be used for a meet and they all have to be pre-selected etc etc... Will that remain?

There was some interesting stuff in MCN about this... As you say Stoner wants it to stay Rossi hates it. In the past Bridgestone always had to bring their rubber form Japan so they alsways had a limited suply of tires - where as Michelin used to wait until after Friday practice to bring in the "right" rubber for the race conditions on Sunday morning.

It's always debatable what is fair, and if racing should be showcase for manufacturers to show off - or a level playing field to illicit the best rider.

I don't know what fair or what is happeneing next season - but sure as sh*t Bridgestone have been doing their homework.

I'm waiting to see if Michelin will have something after the sunner break, and if so can Rossi catch Stoner?
