What pi$$ed me off today was the huge spider clan that came into my flat while I am trying to tidy it.

Thats 4 spiders in the space of a few minutes and I lost the Daddy in my tools downstairs.

Death to all spiders coz I've got my M/X boots on Evil or Very Mad

Looks like just the fairing, clipped the clutch cover but apart from that the fairing looks the only victim. Smile

Phew - all that crunching sound got me worried. Could have been worse - imagine if it came off the other way and had hit the road instead.... Shocked

Soon have her repaired! Wink

Acronyms

what would we do without them

AKA
LMAO
WOMD

and one from many years ago when I was learning to drive

MSM - Mirror Signal Manouver

or is it ?

alternative theories on this one have been presented but the favourite one for the moment is

Motorcycle Straffing Manouver

This can only occur on a multiple lane carriageway and involves multiple vehicle on the inside lane pulling into the side of you in succession
If you can predict an MSM in advance and manage to avoid the MSM then you can deem the MSM not to have actually occured, becoming an AASM (Advanced Anti Straffing Manouver). If however you are caught in the middle of an MSM and Power through or out-brake your opponents this is known as an MSMD (MSM Denial).

In the unlucky case of MSM success and yourself becoming a victim of an MSM you can of course deem the vehicles used to be WOMDs

The only real answer is

teach the b@st@rds to drive properly

who would guess that i had a bad journey to work this morning !

NHS?

No, it's not another acronym, just an answer/reply to badger1666!

That's really bad news, but I always thought that if you had a broken back, it meant total immobilisation?

holyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sh** mate.. dont know what to say, except that this just highlights the complete incompetance of the NHS...

when i dislocated my shoulder in March i went into A&E, and they wheeled me up in a wheelchair and the ambulance guys (who were fantastic) went off and i was just left there for about 20 mins i'd say, even though the A&E was empty.. then the nurse came over and just wheeled me to one side, didn't bother taking me to a cubicle, and i'm holding my arm which has the bone halfway down my back rather than in the shoulder joint.. "Oh, i dont think you've dislocated it, i reckon it's just a broken arm" she says like she's extremely pissed off at me.. then notices a great depression where my arm should have been comin out of the shoulder Razz she didnt say much after that.. i think i'd know if it was dislocated (having done it 4 times previously..) then she left me sitting on a bed for another 30 mins with no pain killers at all.. until a different nurse decided maybe it was hurting a bit Razz

long story short (bit late now) 12 hours later they decided it was about time to put the shoulder back in.. Rolling Eyes
