Woo hoo!
It'll be great to see you all. Bought some cakes for you.
I'll move my car so you can get the bikes right outside the house on the block paving and in front of the garage. _________________ We are all born mad. Some remain so. ~ Samuel Beckett 1906-1989 |

So with the new categories suggested on another thread, is this a 1, 2, 3 or Wivvy run? |

Sorry to say it again but it will be dependent on who turns up
Yes there will be overtaking of cars and 125cc bikes might struggle up hills but it is important to remember that these roads would be new to most peeps and an appropriate speed would be chosen that wouldn't compromise ability in most cases.
Pretty safe to say that it would be cat 2 as it would tend to stick to posted limits but there may be some moderate hoonage in the nationals if the roads demand it, hence the word 'Brisk' this does not mean the run would be fast because it wont be, however, if you're only comfortable riding at 30-40 in a national limit and never overtake cars, you're going to hold things up this run wouldn't be for you. The pace of the ride would be well within the capabilities of the majority of less experienced riders on the forum hence the word wobbler.
Does that cover it _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Thanks for a great day Red Leader, was quite an educational day all in all... wobblers run including slow pavement control
Great to See Biker Spawn looking quite well concidering, thanks susiebabe for the cakes and coffee
Credit also goes to Slappy for behaving himself and showing me correct lines to be taking.... (except those bits on the other side of that white line)
Cuse cuse & Fred, thanks for looking after the rear (and allowing me to take those corners in my own special way) |

much fun was had, clocked a 'few' miles, good to meet you guys and good to see BS getting better
sorry about breaking off on the way back, strange incident as you guys sped off, i somehow managed to be in too high a gear
so slowly accelerated up, but then the bike went all light and wobbly, at first i thought it was stones or something that i didnt see but
it carried on for a good few minutes, stopped quickly to check everything, couldnt see anything then seemed to be fine when i pulled away.
seems to be a bad luck day for me today, had trouble starting the bike this morning, then nearly got hit by someone on way to box then this |

Well I am knackered an interesting a varied day with a few good laughs especially in Wargrave and Slappy's family outing to Asda for hoodies.
Big to Athos who picked up and and dropped of Kerri, that's 400 miles he did today
Good to see Flintstone, Slappy, Jen, Kerry, Tango, Cuse Cuse, Miss V and Athos,
Was also great to see Suzi, David and his sister
Poor guy had a mouth full of metal and stitches but kept laughing at the smutty jokes and innuendo.
Looked at his bike, leathers and lid, what a mess a very lucky escape and the helmet saved his life, no doubt about it
Ran well over schedule sorry guys but at least we had a good mix of roads, made it well into Oxfordshire and did not require corner marking.
Dunno about the rest of you but I'm gonna sleep well _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

A Stonking run ......everyone adopted formation riding as the day wore on and no major incedents took place.
The pace appeared absolutly spot on for the riders that attended allowing us to draw on each others strengths.
Miss V those white lines really are your next target.
throughout the day your movement just got better and better and i was able to see in my mirrors that you realy had been listening ,watching and putting into pratice.
CuseCuse..remember those extra seconds holding back for the pass could well add years to your life.
Tusky....what to say ?......perfectly led with consideration for each and every rider and thier machines abilities.
Fred ......held the tail end together ensuring he remained in position regardless.
Tango...........great use of the road and constantly looking for new veiws of the road ahead
Athos......2nd to none...rode impeccably as if he had one of his own as pillion and both Jen and i had not one concern ( until she fell asleep )
and even then you shook her leg constantly to provoke a response.
Amazing bloke who gives gives and gives more and refuses to accept anything in return too much of that and ill have to buy that bloody rocket for ya
All of the above made today a perfect oppertunity for me to ride with Jens comfort in mind .....putting into practice what i had learnt from last weekends rideout ....smooth cornering, better llines and vision.
Thanks Guys and gal ....today rocked |

What can I say except it was great to see you all. Kinda disappointed that I didn't get my hump off Slappy , but in the circumstances it's understandable.
Not really sure what to say. Was great to see you all and good to meet a couple of new faces. Put a smile on my face at least (bastards!! have you any idea how much that hurt?!?).
Miss V, next time you pull away is there any chance of a wiggle?
I'm sure someone will say that's a sure sign I'm on the road to recovery.
Thank ya all for stopping by and I hope to be out riding with you soon. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. The objective is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

A bit late - been really busy and having a son at home means I don't get access to my computer!
Anyway, it was great to see you all and thanks so much for popping round to see David. It certainly made his day and he felt well chuffed.
