indeed i do. I have no idea to be honest...as you know, the job has really stopped me from coming out etc and actually enjoying myself, so at the moment i am looking for anything that would pay reasonably well enough to pay the bills!
fingers crossed |

i decided today to be the dutiful son and do a few odd jobs me mum has been pestering for starting with a few loose floor tiles in the kitchen..........yeah right the house that twat built strikes again.lifted the tiles to find the so called concrete was more like margate beach....SAND
landed up pulling all the tiles up dressing all the loose shite and filling with good fast setting concrete then laying a rahte snazzy looking slate effect aqualok laminate floor.
also managed to get the wall tiles that had fallen off ( due to them being fixed originally with a 1" blob of adhesive) refixed.

I do look after my mummy and the problem is she knows just how to play me ...........and i woulda put it in what made me smile but .............every time i go to do something that should be simple in that house i find THE FECKIN TWAT THAT BUILT IT WAS A COWBOY.
For example .......i went to decorate the place only to find that when the prick added a two bedroom extension( its a bugalow) he didnt tie the exteranl walls in (AT ALL) and i ended up having to pull the wall apart and re-cut the blocks to effectivley make the wall one.
The guy musta been a total moron to think the wall wouldnt crack.
The garden sunk.....mum wanted a patio so ......gave her a 6" concrete base and set decorative paving slabs into it ( like to see that sucker sink or let weeds through)
im sure your getting my drift as to why i posted it in what pissed me off |

Have been renting out a house to a bunch of students. Bad move. Went to the house with the inventory clerk to do the check-out, and it is not nice...
Bugger not nice, it's absolutely disgusting. They even left food in the fridge and freezer (thankfully still turned on), dirty washing-up in the sink, clothes in the tumble-drier, old sofas, beds, cupboards, wardrobes all over the place, broke three internal doors and/or doorframes, lost the only key to the back door (I've already changed the locks on the other doors), walls that were newly painted before they went in are trashed, a year's worth of cobwebs, curtains not cleaned, windows not cleaned, beer bottles everywhere, rubbish outside the front door but not where the binmen will pick it up, garden totally overgrown and all the rest. And they hadn't even cleaned the toilets. Yuck. So Muggins here is going to have to do that or get someone in and take the hit as the damage they've done won't be covered by their deposit.
Anyone know a good plumber to fit a shower, and a good cleaning company, and a good painter to throw some paint at the walls, a good sparks to fit a new oven and someone to 'do' a basic clean-up on the garden? |

check whether a coin or key has fallen into the folds in the rubber seal at the front where the door goes, it could just be that causing a racket. |
