As my bike a spare time thing to me then ive normaly agreed to meet up with someone and its rare i say im going to be somewhere and dont show up.
If its a case of i wake up and fancy a ride but its persisting down then i dont go out.
If i go out and the heavens open up then so be it.
Been caught in one or two torrential downpours with Biggus eh fella.

I don't go out if it's chucking it down, but will have to when company moves. Last time I rode in the snow was on a C90 and I fell off on a corner, but couldn't get up again for laughing so much ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

I am a FWB, I hate the rain and cold, me coming from a warm country and all.
If I go out and then I get caught though, its tough, shit happens. _________________ For those who are about to ride we salute you!!!

Like many others I don't have a choice. If the weather is crap then I stick to main roads and try not to hang about too much - no point in prolonging the misery!
That said, I would have traded having my arm in plaster for a wet and windy day out on the bike at any time - no contest!! |

Yes same here...although i am getting out more this winter than ever before...have really become fed up with cars...
Although all the classics and the R1 are now legally sorned plus the 80 pounds fine for being a few weeks late sorning one of them..completely cash making system designed to catch us out and make us pay...DVLA sucks _________________ track days rule, |

Well I've got a car as well as the bike but never use it now and will be selling it. I'd rather ride to work in bad weather than drive and sit in traffic. I hate traffic queues. I really enjoy my commute now I'm on the bike even if it's not nice out.
The only thing i'm not looking forward too is Snow, but as my commute is on major roads they should be pretty well gritted. |
