My dad had a heart attack on Monday morning and was obviously rushed into hospital.

Early Tuesday morning he was taken in for a heart bypass, this was supposed to be a 4 hour op, it turned into a 7 hour op.

He ended up having a QUADRUPLE bypass operation Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

So what made me smile today?

He is now sat up in bed, he is talking and he should soon be moved from intensive care into a high dependancy ward. The hosp staff are very happy with his progress.

The NHS staff have been absolutly fantastic. Every single staff member i have spoken to have been so helpful, it's like nothing is too much trouble.

For what I have seen they are worth their weight in gold.
