My dad had a heart attack on Monday morning and was obviously rushed into hospital.
Early Tuesday morning he was taken in for a heart bypass, this was supposed to be a 4 hour op, it turned into a 7 hour op.
He ended up having a QUADRUPLE bypass operation
So what made me smile today?
He is now sat up in bed, he is talking and he should soon be moved from intensive care into a high dependancy ward. The hosp staff are very happy with his progress. |

The NHS staff have been absolutly fantastic. Every single staff member i have spoken to have been so helpful, it's like nothing is too much trouble.
For what I have seen they are worth their weight in gold. |
