Please add links for Hotels you have/used for trips, i will copy and paste to this top part of the thread so as to keep all in one place.
I used the first link below for 6 nights in different towns around France, with two peeps sharing it worked out to £144 B&B using the Ibis Chain, as you can see from the amount of Hotel Chains the Accor group owns it is a handy site for planning stops throughout europe.

Black Forest - I have stayed at:-

Bad Peterstal - proper hotel - Markus the owner speaks good English - guided rideouts at any pace.

Ruppertshofen - B&B - basic loft type accomadation - owner English and a biker - terrific road leads up to Ruppertshofen - could spend the whole week going up and down that Laughing - Wispertal road is nearby which is as close as you can get to a German version of the Isle of Man, although road surface poor in places.

I had a chat with Greg Niven at The Ace the other weekend, about the pension he runs with his family in Germany. Obviously i haven't been there, but i did promise to pass on the information to others.
