Do you think you would pass a bike test if you had to re-take it today? |

DrBolus post made me think..
If you had to take your test again, today, do you think you would pass?
Really, really honestly....

To be honest I had a good instructor who spent a day and a half having a go at me about all the bad habits I had got into over the few months I had been riding, and while coming home still in 'test mode' a bit I new I did the wrong thing, speed limits etc..
If I had to take it again I would make sure I had another morning with an instructor getting me back into 'test mode'. |

I dunno! It is so different.
WHen I took mine the bloke was on foot walking around the block.
I've done advanced and was an instructor for a good few years but have no idea what you have to do these days.
You do learn a lot more after the test _________________

I have had to do my test twice, so I think I could do it again with some lessons to brush up on skills
On my second cbt i got told to piss off "politely" and sit down after running rings around the other learners and putting them off |

I've said yes but have been informed in the past that if i was to ride how i've been taught, they would fail me cos its a basic test, what a mockery! _________________ Speed Limits are Minimums and remember Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one

I don't know if I would or not as I took my tests in the early 90s (part 1 and part 2). If I had to take it again I would definitely book some additional training so that I knew what to expect in the new test. I hope that I have maintained a good enough riding standard to pass again but I certainly wouldn't be arrogant enough to assume that that was the case. |

I would hope I haven't picked up too many bad habits, and I'd probabaly pass, but wouldn't want to be too cocky so picked the fourth option. |

If someone is ordered to re-take their test following disqualification, does the examiner know this? Or is it "just another test"? _________________

Would be quite a giggle to see just how many minus points you could get I s'pose.
As long as ya licence didn't depend on it of course. _________________ The lunatics have finally taken over the asylum |

Rather worrying is this wording
"The test is longer and more demanding and is aimed at checking your ability to drive."
WTF is the "normal" test for then?! _________________
