Can sympathize with you there. We had Tropical Storm Hanna go through here last night and we got a huge amount of rain for about 8 hours. Thing was about 8.15pm the TV starts flashing up tornado warnings for our area. Now they are pretty good out here with that sort of stuff(unlike Mr Fish)and they had it pinpointed down to times and places and it was due to go through us about 8.30. Plenty of wind and rain and this morning there is debris everywhere but it's going to be in the 80's and sunny so I'm off to the Catskill Mountains with a mate from work for a days riding
Hope it gets better for you over there. |

Hello to AJ, Jimbo and all. I'm doing good Jimbo. Got back on a bike this May and I'm riding a Triumph Daytona 955i now and pleased with it. Mainly commuting on it(110 mile round trip)and occasionally for fun like today. Did about 360 miles to the Catskills and back. Great roads and scenery, almost as good as the Swiss Trip. Not one speed camera, hardly any traffic and only saw 2 State Police cars. Hoping to get back up to Lake Placid next year on the bike for a week.
Living on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut now and going to be father in October _________________ Support your local farmer. |

The journey to work - oh how I wish it was possible to ride to work instead of taking the car.
Took an hour and a half to get from the A307/A3 junction at Hersham to Thames Ditton, all because of a stupid traffic lights by Cafe Rouge near the Silly Isles roundabout. 3-way lights, lanes coned off to a single lane to the lights on all 3 roads, roadworks signs all over the place and not a hole in the road or a workman to be seen anywhere.
So instead of getting to work early (as I would have expected to) I was more than an hour late.
And to top it all the first time I wrote a post about it, the work netspy kicked me off because Boxhill is a restricted site because it's about "vehicles".
Grrr and double-grrr.
(I got my own back - it tried to do it again but this time I remembered to copy the content of my post...) |

Yes nothing to wory about. Elevated temperature was found but no bladder infection . Think it was a reaction to me ignoring the pain and trying to do normal things. Driving 500 miles bike hunting for example. A days rest has put me back on track |

Happy that I cought it early, very little taken out but even so could have been more if I hadnt spotted the transactions
Just a pain as got rid of all credit cards a while ago in a bid to be good girl, have been told I can go into branch with ID to withdraw cash... that would involve finding a branch & it being open though |

Wife Going out to the car to find that all 4 Tyres have been slashed as well as the back wheel on my Bike with the blade still in the tyre...
Then the police saying its not cost effective to look for finger prints and investigate as damage less than £500 in total.
