Dont get me wrong im all for suggesting the pro guys like Inci and Southern speed for mechanics ...its thier trade and at the end you get a bill ( possibly less 10% BHF discount ....dont know if its offered on repairs ot if they are in the scheme but it would be worth asking)

but if you know how to do something and someone is having a little trouble i find it bit over the mark to give it the charlie big balls then put someone else.s name forward first before offering your own services.

Copper said he'd just come from their other busy crash site on the A22.

Sue was working in Mitcham today and went via M25/ A217 - she said there were queues at Banstead so she ended up going through Cheam arriving an hour late.

Ordered some engine parts from a guy in San Diego, CA. Payed $150 for them and a couple of tools to fit, Then get a bill for VAT on the packets arrival in the UK. Rolling Eyes Then........when delivered, i find box had opened in transit, and all items, but for a 'spanner', were missing !!!! Twisted Evil Replacement parts on the way, no questions asked, but will be another two weeks AND another VAT bill from HM Revenue & Customs.

Could you not reclaim the VAT on the non-delivered items? Might be tricky to prove though, so GLWT

Thats what I did when I buy the parts for the boat engine from the good ol' US of A. Mind you that was before the economic shit hit the fan. Prices seem to be on par with here now when you take into account the shipping costs. Still amazes me that I could get a set of risers quicker and cheaper from the US than I could from a company in this country......

I've found that sometimes you order a part from a UK seller only to find they source it from the States anyway Evil or Very Mad

i'd just like to ask if there is any retalliation to this post Craig, you do it in a PM.
let's not allow this to drop into the realms of tit for tat on a public forum.
