My sister has won Ashford mum of the year after being nominated by one of her step daughters and I'm listening to her on kmfm radio at the moment with the two girls Go Team

Really proud of her and also of my step-niece who nominated her, brought a tear to my eye hearing what she'd written

Mine's 1.49% & I've increased my over payments (now paying back nearly double) so I'm really eating into the capital. In theory at least means that I should have paid it off in about 8 years from now.

I have *ahem* done it more than once... Fortunately in a locked garage in Mayfair though, with Aston Martins and the like next to the CG-125. ;-)

In a nutshell. 5 years ago my sister & her now Husband landed up with his two children as their natural mother was taken ill, and later died on boxing day so they went from being "weekend" parents to taking the 2 girls on full time & adjusting lifestyle to suit. On top of that, the youngest of the 2 girls has a rare heart defect that only 3 people in the world are known to have so long spells in the Royal Brompton have been a part of the routine.

Last year, at the girls request, my sister formerly adopted them both at their request. They now have a younger brother and sister as well.

Spent the last two days on a course with involves riding like a ....... erm ......erm.......erm........ riding very quickly around both a test track and then through the streets of good old London Town.

Those two days, along with the unoffical 'off road' riding on Wednesday, has left me grinning from ear to ear. And the icing was the fantastic weather i've had to do it all with. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

And the cherry on top of the icing was I was paid for all of it rolling on the floor laughing
