totally agree with you WD
Thats why I like this one, its not in Suzuki colours as last owner got a second set of fairings and tank & had them painted in pearl white
(all original Phantom colour scheme fairings/tank etc included in sale) log book kept original
FAR from local, its from oop north way _________________

Lol, I got my gixer from Carlisle, had to ride it home, that was quite a journey. Why do we end up having to have the one thats so far away?
I know what you mean about liking it a bit different, my fairings are from a K7 750 special edition model so its a bit different too. _________________

Well done bird! Very nice looking bike.
Thank F**K for the black wheels, or you'd be cleaning after every ride!
Couldn't hold out to the last minute then?
Did they close the bidding early?
Didn't think it finished until 10 pm tonight?
Gissa go missus!

He closed the item early (at which point I panicked it was sold)... so text him to ask what going on and he said he was worried all low bids and had no reserve on it, I then text him with an offer

Ah........erm........hmmm.........ZX7R???
I suppose you should be more worried about me dropping yours than you dropping mine considering the way we both ride!
I'm sure we can come to an arrangement!
When/how you gonna collect it?

Beautiful bike, V - can't wait to see you two in action!
What's made me smile today:
Just got back from an impromptu dinner & a movie with a former work colleague that I bumped into at my favourite Chinese takeaway. I love a good coincidence! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

What made me happy today?
Let's see...
Probably, doing 250 miles in the Highlands, in the most perfect weather one can imagine...
Starting off with a ride from Glasgow through the Duke's Pass (very enjoyable, if a bit eye-watering at times)...
Then it just got better and better. I can honestly say, I had never seen anything more astonishingly beautiful than that. So much so, I'm gonna have a repeat performance tomorrow (not entirely by choice though - managed to drop my Filofax in the oyster bar somewhere on Loch Linnhe, so need to go and pick it up tomorrow...)
The only disappointing thing about today - was really wishing BS was there to experience all that beauty and adrenalin of the fast roads with me...
By the way, The Holly Tree is THE place to go for real seafood if you're ever in that area. It's right on the A828... Amazing! _________________ There's a solution to any situation. Even if you've been eaten alive, you still have two ways out... |
