I thought I was the only one who visits that site - sadly it is one of the reasons why I take the tablets so we have a mutual interest there.
I would say the opposite if you or any one else wants to post self-centred Facebook style dribble - do it on Facebook. Most long standing members - of which you are a valued one - are sick of it.
It is a community forum as it says above - it does not have to be all about biking but it would be nice if it occassionally strayed on topic. |
Don't know owt about Facebook, but I do know that I'm fed up with the self-centred Facebook style dribble that seems to be the norm around here these days. |

... and I am fed up with the selfish superior attitude of some that think that as they are long standing members they have more rights. Nobody is forced to stay. Face it guys, the forum became the way it is because you let it. There is only so much to talk about bikes before it has all been said, and then repeated.
Bob, you appear to me to not make any contribution to the forum other than as a butt for the ploughing jibes. Try being a little more proactive and if it of interest people will join in.
WD, enjoy your holiday, I think you need the break. |

And the forum is being reclaimed for what it has always been - a motorcycling forum.
There is only one supercillious attitude here......................... |

This isn't about this forum being just about bikes, if it was just about bikes then I certainly wouldn't be here.
If I may speak for others as well, I think what some people are saying is they want the needless, pointless posts taken away.
People don't care what others are going to have for dinner
There is no need whatsoever to type 'good morning', or 'goodnight' everyday
Some people have no interest in old school photos, that is what friends reunited and the like are for.
This used to be fun and happy on here, now it's just "i'm not well" "i hate work" "i've had no sleep" blah blah boring.
Off topic is the best part of this forum IMO, but at least lets try to make it funny, interesting, entertaining. Lets here the funny stories. Lets see interesting links to world events that can be discussed. But lets get rid of the "the person in my office is useless" type shite.
Peace |
