Gritting of the roads is getting worse every year, must be even more cutbacks. Also, the roads that were re-surfaced last year have broken up ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

I spoke too soon. My daughters friends car hit some ice on the 26 & left the road. She's ok but other cars occupants wern't so lucky that also touched the same patch. _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

Well I really rate West Kent's gritting of A and B roads but I must admit that surface pour-off from the fields is making some roads a no go for bikes at the moment
East Sussex and Surrey are a joke on gritting though...... Surrey is meant to be the wealthiest county in the UK but it seems to have the worst roads _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Thanks very much but if you go back and have another look you will see that 'breakdowns' and 'battery problems' were added to my post when quoted. I didn't put those
Apology accepted

Had planned to go out for a ride today with friends. But, with the temperature below freezing and snow on the ground i'm not going to risk it. It's going to be way too icy out there

LOL........ Looking at my drive and wondering whether the GS traction control would work on a glass slide......... if it does, then it's just the small matter of the 100ft piece of ice to the crossroads
