The food isn't badly priced in there, I expected highly inflated prices, seemed quite reasonable really. That and you drank a lot _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

His advice is to reject it as the medical evidence hasn't yet been finalised and the 3rd party are just making a stab in the dark as to future costs on my back. |
My advice is to reject everything right up until the court hearing, and don't accept even then.
Been there, done that, and have now got the many more thousands of pounds than if I'd accepted their early offers. |
Agreed, its been almost 5 years since my accident and my case is still going strong.
The injuries I got will affect me for life hence why its taking years to sort out.
Only accept what you think is a fair offer for what you have been through though, and dont allways accept what your solicitor is telling you to do straight away.
I got offered £2500 a few times over the years, but my solicitor agreed with me and said not to accept. Then towards the end of last year they suddenly offered £10000 which means they are getting worried according to my solicitor!
Rightly so though, as just in my loss of earnings etc I am owed close to £100,000 not including the personal injury side of things! |
Thanks for your comments and WD, Jay1, LB. Certainly saw the offer as a starting offer but was surprised by it as it was 4x what I thought it would be.
I've had two different opinions on the injuries. The one through the solicitors says I'm not going to get better, my spinal surgeon thinks I should be able to.
Anyway, offer has been rejected and I will go with my solicitor's advice bearing in mind what has been said above. _________________ We are all born mad. Some remain so. ~ Samuel Beckett 1906-1989 |
