He says thanks and says he feels a bigger dickus than the rest even though there wasn't much he could do about the slipperiness of the white lines! _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

£5,875 worth of damage to the bike... excess = £2,000. People borrowing loan bikes beware - the terms and conditions can be very different from demo/test-ride bikes! _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

Sadly that's the norm because people frequently lob loan bikes, not aportioning any blame on Simon, but Dobles for instance fairly recently put their excess up to £1200 I think from previously being £500. _________________

Had had that problem with my Arai, got sick of paying £25 a time for side pods so went back to Shoei _________________ Happiness is a friction burn on your knee

Yup I had three go on my Arai(s), hence the swich to AGV. No side pods just the lining to split. |

I chased up an order from Amazon to note it had apparently been delivered yesterday at 10.00. It was not, or so I thought......
I called Amazon to discover that their delivery people HDNL had apparently put the books into one of my rubbish bins outside the house. No card put through the door to tell me this though.
Apart from the fact that the bins are full of rubbish and water, so the books would probably be ruined anyway; one material problem HDNL did not consider is that bins do get emptied. In my house? on a Wednesday!
I guess these people are deliverymen due to the fact they have one brain cell between them and other emplyment is beyond them. FFS.
To be fair, Amazon handled it well on the phone and have sorted it. |

He's lucky to have walked away from that.. Although when he got the excess bill he probably wishes he didn't!!
Can't he find a scapegoat to blame it on?.. Car in front swerving or something? ... _________________ Not man enough for an R1....... FZ1's are cooler anyway |

DJS / Slow - Crossing from inside to outside lane on the bit of the A3 near the turn-off for the Hog's Back. Car in the outside lane broke, so he gently broke too. Unfortunately, the front wheel was light on the ground (that bit of the road is a rising crest) so slipped on the white line and had no chance to recover. Lucky the concrete wall was there really, or he'd have shot straight into oncoming traffic. _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

Found a design flaw in my new Shark helmet... (CRASH helmet before anyone starts... )
Decided to be naughty and wind it up a bit on the 25 on the way back from Ryka's today, and apart from the wind noise (I can deal with that) there's just one thing i' m not happy with....
At anything over about 105 (Ummm.. Errr.. I mean 70mph officer...), hunkered down, ass in the back of the seat and looking through the screen.. The wind resistance pressing against my head was forcing the unnecesarily sharp edge of the helmet into my forhead, which began to feel like the top of my head was being sliced off by a shovel...
Time for a blue peter fix.. now where did i put that roll of selotape and slice of packing foam...... _________________ Not man enough for an R1....... FZ1's are cooler anyway |
