Police woke me up at 5am to let them in the block so they could "surprise" the flat upstairs. They then stood there for a full 20 minutes banging on the door shouting "It's the Police, Is anyone home?"
FFS, either kick the door down and arrest the pikeys, or bugger off and let me sleep |

Would be really surprising to the people inside that the police are at their front door after they've been stood banging and shouting for fifteen minutes.
Why? If it's a surprise dawn raid, surely they should just kick the door down and go in all guns blazing? _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. The objective is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

Work First they wanted me to cancel my procedure which I refused. Then they wanted to give me a laptop so I could work from home. I thought that was feasable as really that mean't just doing one spreadsheet exercise. However, I would still be officially on sick leave so I have left the laptop on my managers desk _________________

So they expected you to work whilst on sick leave? Last I heard that invalidates their health & safery amongst other things.
A few years back after my off on my bike, I was off work for a couple of weeks and offered to work from home as I could still work, just couldn't get into the office. My manager gladly accepted and then had to ring me up and tell me to stop work as the H&S manager had just had a fit about me working from home whilst on sick leave. _________________

ebay sellers who put "EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER" so you assume that means that the radiator you have just brought having discounted the cheaper ones that were honest and said "slight damage" or "twisted" and bought the one that says "EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER" for 3 times the price you'd expect it to be as such. CNUTS. £15 postage as well scamming wankers _________________
