Not getting to sleep until 4:30-5am thanks to the people in the flat upstairs decicing to have a barney. Police response time was great too, 45 minutes...this being when there are screams, swearing, sounds of stuff breaking and shouts of things like, "Get off you're hurting me," and, "Come near me again I'll stab you."
Granted it had already been going on for about an hour (for that stretch, about 3 hours off and on) before I got pissed off enough to call the police about it and by the end of it (about 20 minutes after I made the call) I was kind of hoping they WOULD kill eachother, just so they'd shut the fk up and let me get some sleep.
Compared to all that, it was only mildly irritating when the police knocked on my door after going up to their flat and asked if I was the one who called the police, if I was sure I'd heard a disturbance and that it was coming from their flat and then stated there were "no signs of disturbance" and that "she looked like she was asleep when we knocked." Well of course, it was over half an hour ago and I imagine she WOULD be quite tired after having all that crap going on.
Anyway, rant over...I'm sure being the Easter Weekend that they themselves were hard pressed or they'd have been there sooner. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. now i'm not usually a fan of 'this type of post' but wpmo is a very nasty fatal on a27 shoreham.
blokes leg got ripped off and head half off.
thought that a car in lane one pulled into lane 2 and knocked the rider off.
confusing thing is the rider was showing as diqualified...confusing times.
all be it. very nasty and horrible |
