After some serious thinking and consideration, due to the amount of stress and shit I've dealt with since October last year and finally receiving compensation (just over a week ago) for loss of earnings I decided I deserved a treat. Got no one to treat me so fcuk it, i'll do it myself! Very Happy Very Happy

You only live once, i thought, so why not enjoy it.

So with that in mind I bought myself a new toy, got it last night but took it out for 120 ish miles of fun today...bloody loved it. It's 10 years old but I like it. I was tempted to blow the lot but that would have just been irresponsible Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

The re-wire of my lathe is almost done. Changing it over from 3 phase to single phase.... Yes I could have used an inverter; however a 2hp 220vac single phase motor and a replacement contactor and e-stop button (appropriated from work Laughing ) were cheaper, and less risky as the 3phase motor was of unknown condition, so inverter money might well have been money down the drain. Also while re-wiring all the wiring is coming to the front of the machine so that it's easily accessible if needs be.

This e-mail reply to the original one sent below it :-

Dear Cnutface,

1. Could I please point out that I have never before sent you an email for fear of catching some sort of viral infection.

2. Maybe those who are emailing you to your old address are doing so in the hope that you wont receive them as they don't actually want to send you emails or receive your meaningless replies - they are only doing so to look polite to those copied in.

3. You have copied yourself into the email so you are as much to blame for emailing you as Matt is.

4. Could you please check the address: www.i'mascottishtwatwhocantunderstandenglish.com as it doesn't seem to work:

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.i'mascottishtwatwhocantunderstandenglish.com.

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

:-(

Much love,

Pete

Folks,

Please remember that my email address has changed to ******************* and NOT the ******** address.

Yes Matt, I am looking in your direction.

Although I have just been able to read them, I cannot save or reply to them. And I will not be able to access it at all very soon

Much Love
