Respect to Nick Clegg who stands by his ethics that the party that has the most vote should govern, looks like the deal Brown nose wants do with him has fallen by the wayside.

Cameron is still an absolute cnut of the highest order though; I'm not talking politcs here, I just think he's one of the most insincere fuckwits I have ever come across. Agreed, Brown has to go; but, I actually wonder how many voters actually know what they were doing - I am suprised, given that how well NC came across on the televised debates that the LD's didn't fair better, but this is the problem with our system... local votes, rather than a national vote; but that is also full of problems.

The markets recovered half their losses after Nick Clegg made his announcement, speaks volumes what they think of Brown, Gluck to who ever governs to get us out of this shit but at least it's GFR Brown now.

My My how well the Conservatives did. With the most unpopular prime minister since Micheal Foot, the country's finance in a mess, high unemployment, immigration out of control and yet voters STILL don't trust the Torrie's ....... Jimmy Hill

Everyones a loser but the electorate have the most to lose whilst Frown clings onto power at any cost grovelling for coalition. He needs to do the very least of handing the helm to someone else and go from there.

actually that's entirely how it should be. We're meant to be electing representatives at the local level who will then represent (the clues in the name) our views on the national stage.
If we want to go down the presidential route of electing a leader based on a national count of votes then that's entirely different.

And NC came across poorly after the first debate when the two parties then challenged him directly rather than their previous patronising approach of treating him like the trainee in the room.

Yup, that's what you get if you don't fess up about what you actually plan to do.
Not that the other two did either.

"What are we going to do about the deficit chaps ?"

Brown "efficiency savings"
Cameron "introduce savings through efficiencies"
Clegg "save money by being more efficient"

yeah ok........
