Getting the missing bits for my helmet. A pity I had to put in a 150 mile drive to get them (they "forgot" to post them), but at least I now have a complete helmet.
and if that para is not open to witty or crude amendment, I do no know what it. |

WMMST? 3 things:
- The look on the AA driver's face when he came to do a home repair on my bike's rear tyre this morning, and I opened the door wearing motorcycle gear and sparkly lip gloss; the utter antithesis of the large, hairy, tatooed bloke he was expecting. Heh heh heh - I love destroying people's perceptions of what a biker "should" be!
- The generous and very kind spannering help of a friend. Many, many thanks, mate! You know who you are xx
- The delivery of new-to-me sofas, by Marky Mark, Miss V, KIS and HCMS. Such service! Wonderful to see you all, and many thanks to you guys too for your kindness and generosity. xx _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

It looks like they'd just paddle it rather than ride it at parking speed so I'd be fine _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

Finished rewiring my lathe tonight and made some swarf slowly coming back to me, not used one in 13 years or so. Might set myself a little project to get into the swing of it, like making myself a tap wrench or something _________________

Memories of school days metalwork classes, I still got some of the bits I made in metalwork. Was still using the centre punch I made untill about a year ago. _________________ Comfortably Numb

after a couple of days of using the streets of central london as my TT course during rush hours and teasing the couriers , this afternoon i decided to take it a little easier and back off .....
( adopting the "dont push your luck sunshine attitude) Low and behold Londons finest seemed to be out in force with ANPR vans ,speed traps , traffic light traps and general presence and each time i was being a little angel |

I would like to point out that it's only the "caber tossing cnut" bit that's anything to do with me _________________
