What/Who took the reading ?

Depending on that challenging/asking for the evidence could save you the points.

AFAIK the ACPO recommended the 10% +2mph as a guide for convictions/speed camera settings (something to do with a study on speedo errors??). There is nothing to stop you being nicked for doing 31 in a 30 though if the copper in question is that way inclined.

Not so much PMO, but made me sigh with resignation:

Buying tourist tat in Windsor today to send home to my nieces. 9 years I've lived in this country, and now all of a sudden they've decided Britain is cool! FFS... Rolling Eyes

You really should tell them the truth, they can't go through life thinking that Great Britain is cool!

Retard on the ticket barrier at Purley (i thought the barriers were there to replace people?)... Dropped Melz at the station to go up North, and realised she'd left the phone in the car, so i went the aforementioned fuckwit and said can you put an announcement over the tannoy about this or let me on to platform 5 to pass on this phone...?

"No mon carrrn't do de tannoy"

"ok well can you tell me if the train at platform 5 is the 8.17am or whether that one has gone and the one standing there is another..?"

<looks at watch showing about 8.20>

"de seventeeeen 'as gone mon"

"ok well if it went on time, she would have missed it, now, can you please either let me on the platform or put an announment on the tannoy?"

**pause**

"ok mon I let you on de platform"

So I run to platform 5, get there as the doors close and it was the 8.17... late.. grrrr. So thanks to this fucktard I have to go and post the kin phone what a w***er

In fairness, the only twats that do those surveys are those who buy cars such as the Prius. Very Happy

Was definitely "sold" a job as being better conditions than it actually is.

Sweated my b*ll*cks off for 10.5 hours yesterday. Was just about (grudgingly) given a fag break for 10 mins. Had to deal with a load of stroppy, prima-donna illiterate school drop out chef tw*ts. Listened to more Polish being spoken than I care to in a lifetime...

...and earned the princely sum of £90 before tax. Great. After fuel, travel time, tax, NI and half a bottle of shower gel to get the smell of chips off me, I wonder why I bothered.
