WMMST? On the way to the station I had a huge Gin Palace sitting on my bumper (it was one of those massive black ambassador-type Mercedes) so I let him pass. At the roundabout I changed lanes and nipped into a gap leaving the gin palace stuck behind several lorries. I turned off the slip road to head towards the station closely followed by the angry driver who roared pass obviously annoyed he'd been beaten by a little astra! Laughing

I'm not sure whether to be chuffed or offended. Laughing

WMMST... Seriously contemplating a solo "down-under" bike tour for next year, was due to be going to a wedding in Sydney, which is now off... Another mate of mine who was on the wedding guest list and doesn't ride is doing his best to convince me it's a good idea "And then I'll miraculously arrange to be in Aus at the same time, and we can spend a week on the right old lash, hoping to meet all those rowdy chicks from Laddette to Lady." Laughing Cool

Just need to look into whether there are any decent roads, I fear with the sheer amount of space they will be largely rather Roman... Can you do track days at Philip Island? On a Hired GS? Laughing

My Dad feeling much better today after his op yesterday.

I spent most of the night running up and down the stairs because he was worried that if he fell asleep, he wouldn't wake up.

Good news SuziB.

A day of DIY (in the non-smutty sense Smile ); delivery of a new workbench (in the smutty sense Smile ); a good work-out on the exercise bike (genuinely- not a metaphor Smile ) and the thought of a very busy social life for the next 10 days.

I'm eating salted cashew nuts! The only craving I've had is for salt, not the healthiest but I've managed to resist stuffing my chops with crisps, nuts etc etc this is the first small bag of cashews I've eaten in two months and they're delicious. Nom Nom Nom Very Happy

Forgot to mention that when i got the new one he said he'd noted that the adjustment was all at one end of the threaded adjuster so he cut the cable a bit shorter... Just fitted it. Spot on Cool refreshingly nice when someone knows their craft Smile

The tacho vibrating withing it's hosuing, torn seat, gaffer tape on tacho and more naked that a naked thing Laughing . What a beast, needs to be ridden through some fields!!
