On the other hand, at least now I know Sad

That's crap Sad Hope it gets sorted and good luck with the new job.

Thanks people. It's been utterly cr*p and the only two silver linings have been a) the weather's not been great for much riding in that time either, and b) at least the MRI has identified the problem so hopefully onwards and upwards instead of just relying on drugs to kill the pain!

Just wish the docs had sent me off for an MRI earlier so I'd at least be halfway to treating it by now but I guess that's not usually the first port of call...

That's shite, hope it improves for you...at least you know what the problem is and can presumabley do something about taking care around it. Lucky to get an MRI that quick I reckon. Reckon you should get that neck support back out. Wink

lol Not that I don't think it's sexy Razz but it's actually more of a hindrance than a help as it immobilises me and I actually need to keep moving gently at the moment. If I remain in one position for more than 5 minutes, the next move is absolutely excruciating / impossible.

Spike, sorry to hear that - condolences. I'm with you - next year (this year now!) has got to be better!

Yeah I was gonna say that slow gentle movements over a long period of time tend to have a better effect overall in my experiance IMHO Smile

You think its was bad today???

On the 4th January (Tuesday) vat is going up by 2.5%. So when we filled up today on the way back from Birling Gap the £1.30 the station was charging will be £1:34 on Tuesday.

Its all a fucking con isnt it ffs

Don't you just love alarms?!! If you have electrics in your garage try using a battery tender or similar.

Yeah, I put my Optimate on a couple of times a week to keep the battery topped up to prevent the alarm draining it. But I didn't know the alarm I have goes into 'sleep' mode after 10 days of not being armed/dis-armed and doesn't, in theory, draw any power. What it does do is close everything down requiring a particular sequence of actions to re-arm or re-enable the ignition. I was most upset the first time I came across this as I wanted to get going. The moral of the story? RTFM!

Having said that I haven't (touch wood) had any issues with the alarm in normal use. I was a little apprehensive after reading some horror stories.

Why I hate internet ordering.

Fecking sites that tell you something is in stock. When chased a week after ordering the cnuts tell you they are actually awaiting new stock which will not be in until 11th Jan earliest and it will take them 2-3 days to turn it around.

A minimum of a 3 week wait for something I wanted for this weekend. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
