I stupidly did the cycle ride on Sunday with a damaged right knee and now can hardly walk on it, let alone ride the bicycle (I just tried).
No cycling for me this week at least which will start to undo all the work I have put in to date. |

T-Mobile
My contract has run out so I phoned them and told them what I wanted to re-new. Told them what phone i want (free of charge), how many minutes, unlimited email, unlimited tinterweb and how much i am prepared to pay each month for it. They said, "no sorry, can't do that". Offered me a contract much more per month than I wanted to pay AND I had to pay for the phone.
Went shopping, played some companies off against each other. Ended up finding a good deal with another company.
Phoned T-mobile, told them again what I want, still said they couldn't do it and that i was asking too much, offered me something slightly better than they did before. "Bye then, please text me my PAC code, I'm off".
PAC code arrived
As expected, a day later (yesterday) phone call from their 'retention' management team, "you are a valued customer blah blah blah". told them what i want, told me they couldn't do it. I wasn't budging. After haggling with her for a while, didn't get exactly what I wanted but got very, very close to it. I do actually believe her when she said she really couldn't give me anymore. I had squeezed her as much as I could
New phones for me and Mrs M couriered this afternoon, delivery charge wavered of course
Why did this piss me off, why couldn't they have just offered me this deal in the first place and saved this charade. |

We should ride tandem Marc, we'd have one good pair of knees between us!

Try sucking harder, but without the teeth. It may give a better result. |

Bastard sneaky, unforgiving, hidden tree branches pissed me off today. I now have a hurty head and neck and a slightly battered helmet. _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.
