Seeing the new shoots on the previously planted apple trees had been eaten by muntjack.
Having to temporarily fence all of the trees to protect them from the same. |

Being overly optimistic about my procedure and now i) experiencing a world of pain, ii) having to manage work expectations having previously mentioning that 4 out of 5 people are back to work the next day (and I'm still in my probation period), and iii) possibly having to forfeit a very expensive dinner deposit for Saturday if my neck isn't better by then.
Why do surgeons not tell you the truth beforehand on what to expect afterwards?? now he says it could take up to 2 weeks for the procedure to take effect...

Why do some people have to act and behave like complete CNUTS, and then think a simple apology will make everything OK
Here is a novel idea, how about NOT ACTING LIKE A COMPLETE CUNT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW - This has nothing to do with the posts above............ although I agree with Miss G |

After having a great day, just me and the kids, the realisation has just hit that i'm at work in a couple of hours. And not going to get to bed for at least another 12.

I had some steriod injections into my spine a couple of years ago to try to help the arthritis in the joints (not quite the same as your neck, but closest comparison I can think of) and day 3 after it was so bad I didn't know where to put myself, nothing touched the pain, but the improvement afterwards was worth it. Hopefully you're over the worst now. Chin up, thinking of you, shout if you want a natter or moral support. xxx _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.
