On a good naked bike - say a Super Duke or a GS - road heaven

On a bike the size of mine - not road hell - but not the B500 Laughing

I confess to not being a fan of hairpin bends.

I'm with Bob on this one. Not a fan of hairpin bends - a quick blat on a straight (of sorts), then a sharp left or right....... where's the flow in that.

So, probably road hell for me

TBH I'd like to give it a go and make my verdict at the other end.. I guess you never really know until you've done it. I think the guys above may be right... Lots of heavy braking wouldn't do your wrists any good on a sportsbike, and I expect your concentration would lapse after a while which could prove fatal. Still, it would be an experience worthy of pub chat!

Hairpins do get a little tedious after the first few IMO. The Stelvio Pass being one such example especially since down one side they all seem identical. As per wd's comment the flow just often isn't there.

I thought it might be the "Troll ladder". Not convinced though.

Looking at it again - and comparing with pix I have of Norwegian bends - the vegetation looks a little too lush for Norway.

Anyway, I thought your staircase at home was known as the Troll Ladder..... Laughing behind hand

Through my extensive knowledge, of topography and geography, I can tell you that its not Holland.....

I'd take one look at that and say "Feckit, I'm going home" I'd probably end up throwing my guts anyway riding that. I get queasy on a roundabout.....

Some fantastic views and brilliant road building, I would love to see that.

Don't let Tusky any where near all those right handers though Laughing behind hand

Yep, some of the more flowing Swiss one's I've done are amazing but things like Stelvio rapidly become a chore.
