I was working at the Trust today. They seem a little excited that the bikes are coming again.
I would loved to have come but I need to be in Essex tomorrow and saturday. A little mishap on the east coast last year which I sorted over the winter and needs my attention this weekend, Sorry....... |

Thanks for that Barry, good to know that they are looking forward to the bikes coming
I will be heading down to Wessons to lead in a few peeps from http://www.southeastcountiesbikers.co.uk/forum/ up to Boxhill in time for 10:00am.
If anybody wants an extended run, then meet at Four Elms Crossroads for 7:45am or Wessons for 8:15am
Regarding my diet........ Peeps will have to find out tomorrow whether I have to cough up £50.00 or whether I will be tapping up the sponsors _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

I wonder if the bunny suit will make it out tomorrow?
Looks like we'll have a nice day again, might be a tad chilly though. _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

Great to see so many people make the effort to do the run today
Far too many to mention but thanks to Vanessa for organising and Pete for being the scary bunny again
I led a group up from Wessons and it was a bit of a chilly hoon down there and back but I think we all enjoyed it and it was great to meet some new peeps from another forum.
Some really good pics are posted on this thread South East Counties BIkers Photos
For those of little faith, I managed 20.5lbs, so a big thanks to Cleber, Rana, Pete, Kate and Waki for your matching donations, it gave me a real boost and raised an extra £100.00 for the children trust _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Nice to see everyone, and a great turnout
Afterwards myself, firecracker Rook and Redrat ended up going out for a play at the Pirbright bends, and the roads were fairly quiet...result! |

Great morning indeed. As always a humbling experience and a joy to see the childrens reactions to our visit. Thanks again V for organizing the ride .....what a brilliant turn out. For the most part we had a good response from the general public on route Some car drivers weren't so sure........"About time i had a break.....just thought i saw a rabbit riding a motorbike.....and it waved at me!
Congrats Tusky for raising £100 for the trust Keep it going !
Finally good to meet up with some old friends and put faces to forum names for the fist time. _________________ Just call me Waki. |

What a great morning, great to see the kids and their carers the table was absolutely overflowing with presents and easter eggs, well done everyone, you are amazing
Lovely to see good friends and lovely to see some forum members who I have not seen for a while and some new ones. Was lovely to see some little special people, Reece, what a cutie and Flippers grandaughter, she was beautiful, such big brown eyes
Well done to V for organising and to Pete for doing the flyers, Ali for promoting it on her facebook page and for my old man for going down to Wessons to pick up some new peeps and losing the weight and for everyone who sponsored him and made some money for the Trust If I have forgotten anyone I do apologise.
Well done and such a fabulous turnout for such a worthy cause _________________ Ciao Marco, you will be missed :-( xx |

Sorry for the delay in posting this up but had a note from the Trust re our visit Good Friday..........
Hi Vanessa
Huge apologies for the very late THANK YOU note.
What an amazing turn out last Friday
We were bowled over and I hope you were
It was truly magnificent and oh so generous.
Thanks Vanessa, it made our morning .
Still plodding through the chocolate
The pressies were lovely and so appropriate
The 2 pillows that play music what a hit there are.
Please please pass on all our thanks
Also a huge thank you for £130.50 donated as result of some very strong willed guy losing weight.
That is going for an evening out to the Pizza Express for a leaving party in a couple of weeks time ( children not staff!!)
Thanks and see you again when ever you feel like coming
Take care love to all
