Never mind Dunc, you got to see me at The Chalet anyway .
It was going so well up to Winchester, then i sprang a leak! I'm pretty sure it was Bacon throwing stones at me, and one punctured my radiator.
A very very nice man came along within 45 mins and poured his "stuff" into the cooling system (see "Technical Questions") to get me on my way again.
Thanks for the lead Wivvy, some great roads there, and thanks for your company guys. I'm just sorry I wasn't with you longer . _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

Great ride today guys, thanks for letting me tag along. Clearly though I need to get myself a weekend sports bike if I'm going to keep closer to the front.
Glad to hear you got sorted Jimbo, the one advantage of having an aircooled bike is I dont have to worry about punctured radiators! _________________ Ride it like you bought it, spent more that you meant to on it, loved it, cherished it, and just cleaned it.....

Thanks for that Wivvy, was definitely a good ride that, enjoyed it, even the humpback bridge and gravel avoiding.
Some stickier tryes could be required for next time I think. (maybe a new bike too)? The TT got used properley today . _________________ Comfortably Numb

Nice to see everyone, if only briefly
The pace was a bit above my comfort level And after a slide on gravel I totally lost my nerve. Glad you all had a good rest of the ride |

And I appreciate that. I never felt pressured at any time, and everyone waited if I fell behind. I just felt I was pushing myself too hard, frustrated at myself for not being able to keep up. That'll come with experience though I suppose (and a faster bike, )
Thanks again all, genuinely nice group of people to ride with! |
