Spotted this in a local shop that I only just realised existed. I have no idea what it is... Shop was closed at the time but peering through the dirty windows there seems to be a load of old (classic!?!?) stuff in there. Will go and visit properly at some point and see what they have.

Also looks like fork lowers have been swopped around to re-position calliper behind the forks. If it runs would probably make a good project bike, providing the price is right. Although the four pipe systems are now as rare as rocking horse shit.
Keep us posted when you check out the shop Chris. _________________ Just call me Waki. |

I had a black chrome Harris fitted to my Z1000ST. A lovely looking and sounding system. _________________ Why pay someone else, do it yerself |

| the top one is either an early US model which only came with single front disc but optional twins hence the mounting points on the fork and those relflectors moved back to the frame after a while too a cousin of mine has a totally original one in boxes in his shed ....criminal.....always had a hard on for one of these as a yoof _________________ Rust is lighter than carbon fibre! |

First bike I ever owned was just like the one in that window. It was the last of the Z900s, in green, with a black 4 into 1 and an aftermarket swing arm.
Mine also had a chromed rear luggage rack!
Bloody fast in its day, I think only the Laverda Jota could give it a run for its money, but I seem to remember it handled as if the frame had a hinge in the middle....
I eventually sold it to buy a car, and then later replaced it with a GPZ900R when they were first released. _________________ Ride it like you bought it, spent more that you meant to on it, loved it, cherished it, and just cleaned it.....
often on a knife edge between grip and god.....
