Thanks for the ride-out, I had to peel off at Chi but still managed to get some miles in, thanks to Stewart for back marking and to every one for the good company.
Shame about the gravel on Hartling hill:(
The really quite country pub ( you had to be there! )
Thanks see you on the next one. _________________ WHICH WAYS THE MUD? |

A great ride out, thanks everyone especially Waki wh even organised the weather (apparently).
That's the quietest pub I've been to for a long time, must go there again as it's so easy to park. |

Can sort the weather but not the pub. I think the clue was in the fact that they didn't even answer the phone.
Turned out to be a most enjoyable day, many thanks to all that attended, was great to have three new faces on the ride (thanks for photo's Stewie btw). We all enjoyed the ride from the pub to Goodwood so much......we went back and did it all again ! Special mention though to 'Dan the Lodger' on his 125, well ridden fella And happy to give Gladys a little sag and a bit of slack
After being concerned about road conditions after all the heavy rain, it's ironic that the road that gave us the most problems was down to the Highways department
Big plus on the day, after all the rain, was seeing the English countryside at it's very best
Until next time.....cheers. _________________ Just call me Waki. |

Didn't get out on the bike until the afternoon; got to Rykas for 4pm in the hope of greeting the triumphant return of the Waki Wobblers, but alas missed you all.
Will endeavour to keep myself in the loop for future rideouts as I'm also interested in getting back into biking, now that my injuries have (mostly) healed.
Looking forward to seeing some old faces and meeting some new ones. _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

I don't know if its any good for future runs that are using this route, but just down the road from the really quite pub, there's a pub call the Coach and Horses, I used them as a meeting point for a charity ride once, and they were really nice, with plenty of parking around the little village bench, and the food was nice with a varied menu.

Quite the opposite Barb, we missed you. we did't get back to box until about 5 ish (i think). I was feeling a little stiff (fnar, Fnar) by the time we reached box so peeled off home, and most of the ride also peeled off home as well. Good to hear your almost back to your old self.

...I thought it was Biggus passing us too
NSK ...had Gladys for a few months but only ridden it twice. As Tango said...windy at high speed being able to put my feet flat to the floor is a real pleasure! It is totally different but I'm sure I will adapt, I certainly enjoyed her on the Wobbler. |

The SFV650 is a really capable but a little unjustly maligned bike. If you haven't got one, then a fly screen makes a big difference (Givi do one for it) _________________
