back in the door at 04 30 an we took the scenic route, left jimbo and bob at hartfeild after watching jim play dodge the deer through the forest.
made my way through tunny wells in that orrible light between night n day when the headlight seemed to do feck all but not enough daylight to see confidently under cover of trees but once i reached the hop farm i was able to get a shift on.
great lead Jim thanks ....i only hope your new bike is an inline four ....bloody v twins
thanks all for the company and biggus for the light display _________________ Rust is lighter than carbon fibre! |

Well that was fun
It has to be forty or more years since I last went to the Blackheath Tea Hut - in those days their speciality was sausage meat rolls.
Adds a certain dimension riding quickly at night - completely empty roads apart from the nocturnal wildlife no time or chance to see or worry about what's lying in the road - absolute concentration required.
Really great route - who needs a TomTom when weve got a JimJim.
Got back indoors at 04:20 after I suppose riding for a good three and a half hours - not been on the bike much lately so absolutely knackered now - my good lady was at the door with a cup of tea - doesn't get much better than that!
Nice to catch up with and ride with all "the gang" once again.
Thanks for organising and leading Jim. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.

took me 50 minutes to get home from Brighton.....
think i did most of the a272 from memory or i've developed bat senses!
Market Cafe - just goes to show you that you WILL piss off your mate for shagging in the back seat of their new Citroen DS3 just to prove a point! Nice to see the quality of Brighton lasses hasn't improved!
Good to see all the usual twats and even the not so usual twats! |

I did wonder whether you and Bob had seen them, or if you just reacted to my panic braking.
that orrible light between night n day
Yes, I have to say I found it easier to ride in the dark rather than that sort of light – no perspective!
great lead Jim thanks ....i only hope your new bike is an inline four ....bloody v twins
It’s an Aprilia RSV so you’re out of luck |

Aye, it was.

I don’t think I could have ridden for much longer without getting a headache. Absolute concentration indeed.
Really great route - who needs a TomTom when weve got a JimJim.
In answer to your question in Battle, yes, it is all in my head. The only thing I really had planned was to do the A271 at some point. Well, it would be rude not to! |

That was me all night .

Good to see you too. |

I did wonder where you were going
My bike smells of cooking rabbits
My concentration suffered from bladder nagging me for a piss almost as soon as we left Battle. Was much better after I just wee'd myself
Sorry about the e-stop Wivvy, that car was going a little quicker than I'd first thought, hence I thought better of pulling out in front of it _________________
