I haven't read it, but I probably will. The reviews are mixed about it's literary value, some saying it's well written, others claiming it's prose is suspect.

It's the fastest selling paperback ever in the UK, so either it's a bloody good read or Vintage Books have got the marketing right. Or maybe we all like a bit of porn now and again.

However, it seems to have generated a discussion about gender equality particularly concerning male dominance in nearly all aspects of life. It's interesting that most attributable analysis is from women, very little recognisably from men! Just another example of the currently skewed duality of sexual politics, i.e. women commenting on sex shows their enlightenment, comments from men confirming that they're all degenerates!

I think we should all make up our own minds, Roughie obviously has Laughing
