Finally got the brakes sorted on my car. They've never been very good, and a few nights ago they failed completely Shocked

Turns out there's two bleed nipples on the master cylinder as well as the ones on the calipers -they're a b*tch to get at! One of them has been loose and weeping for some time as there's a trail of old brake fluid coming from it.

I'm a little annoyed, as the car only has 60k miles and a full main dealer service history. This is the second time a main dealer has let me down on brakes, and I can't help but wonder why they don't have a more robust due diligence procedure when it comes to potentially life-saving/threatening work.

Anyway, all's well that ends well, although I did get a bit of a shock this morning as I applied the brakes as normal, and came to a rather abrupt halt! Laughing

WMMST: a phone call generated from one of my new business cards asking me to quote for work Smile. (NOT the ones in my avatar, I might point out!)

Oh, that and getting the results of my MSc...with Merit. Get in! Very Happy. Big Thanks to every one of you who gave me moral support in a multitude of ways over the last 3 years, and for understanding when I did the hokey cokey over assignments and revision...and yes, I'm sure you know who you are!

WMMST: Rossi finally getting to grips with the Ducati, albeit a bit late in the day (yes I know they have made changes to the bike).

& thinking back to the weekend & spanking my Street Triple around the Norf... Cool Kneedown . It may not be the fastest bike out there, but by 'eck it's a cracking real world bike. Kneedown Wheelie
