Ninjabob posted that the other day in the thread about the insrance tracker service. I always let someone know where I am going approximately and when I am back safe.

To be fair, if I lived in Goole, I'd probably not want to be found. What a shithole! Smile

Glad the fella was ok though!

Here's the thread MrE...

http://www.boxhill.co.uk/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26749

It does seem a good plan idea to have some sort of tracking availble if you wanted, I've ridden 1,000's of miles solo in this country and abroad, and the thought of disappearing into a ditch alone with no one aware has crossed my mind on numerous occasions, usually after a "fuckshitfuckshitfuckshitfuckshitfuckshit" moment of talent/ambition equilibrium failure Laughing

Its all relative. I go offshore in the boat by myself. Often out of sight of land and radio/mobile communication for a few days. Its all a case of risk management. I know the risks and the possible outcome. Commonsense needs to prevail. Unfortunatly commonsense seems to go out of the window when some people get on motorcycles.....easily done, I've done it myself. Adrenanlin is a powerful drug!

A boat is a wiser choice looking out of the window here!
