Probably wouldn't be in pain if I'd actually come off! The shoulder injury was from holding the pan up!

Cheers, think a bit of rest and ibuprofen will sort it, Solicitors on the case, as much as I hate blame culture personal injury claims, it just has to be done. _________________

I took it to a garage here in Haywards Heath, it is a small place and Robert is very honest so I'm not worried he is going to overcharge me, he actually showed me all three faults and it is going to cost me less than £30,00 to have it done.
I'll need to wash the bike tomorrow as there are salt marks all over it already. _________________ The road to success is always under construction.

WPMOT: well yesterday actually, but seeing a cage driver fail to look over his left shoulder before changing lane on the A23, and wiping out the car in front of me... Thankfully no-one was badly hurt, but watching it spin round twice, leaving a trail of debris from where it hit the Armco, was momentarily terrifying. Of course, the driver who caused it had minor damage to his vehicle and was totally unhurt. Be careful out there. _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.

Sadly, Typical for the A23 in my experiance
This morning, on the A23 Hooley (just past the Esso Station and coming up to star lane) I had a guy in a large lorry (carrying gravel) look at me in his mirror, give me the then proceeded close the gap betweed the lanes forcing me into oncoming traffic while I was already filtering past him. Only option I had was to twist the wrist and accelerate past.
No, he wasn’t turning into the petrol station, No I wasn’t travelling particularly slow. My only fault was that I was the 3rd consecutive bike to filter passed him while the traffic was moving very slow.
Be careful kids, there ARE out there that just don’t like motorbikes or our ability to filter in . _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!

a practice i have incorporated into my car driving since buying the beemer, have always been able to adjust mirrors to enable zero blind spots ...i.e where the rear veiw stops the side mirrors pick up and being convex or split, where they stop any object then comes into my peripheral vision and a glance to either left or right was sufficient for most manouvres ...sadly with the beemer its just not possible and so my biking experience has come into play whereby almost every manouvre is preceeded by a full on over the shoulder check.
Currently looking into split side mirrors to minimise the blind spot but still cant see me being able to drop that over the shoulder check as its now something that plays on my mind following a close encounter on the motorway.
It sometimes takes a new vehicle to make us realise were we can improve our on road skills _________________ Rust is lighter than carbon fibre! |

s'funny you should say that Dunc as since owning the beemer ive noticed a trend people seem to have towards beemer/ 4x4 drivers an arrogance if you like of, im gonna be an arsehole before you do it to me.
i know i havnt changed my driving style just because of the brand or type of vehicle so i can only put it down to a big bursh and a tar pot _________________ Rust is lighter than carbon fibre! |

Hmm, I wonder...
Nope, I think they had a game of tennis, the bird accidentally got hit by the ball which knocked the wind out of him and dislodged a few loose feathers. The cats then gave him a lift to the vets and came home. Obviously they forgot to tidy everything up in the rush before you got back. _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.
