Great to see TYRE getting the recognition it deserves.

I wonder how many biking miles have been ridden by bikers with routes created using this free software - I've done a few.

Great kudos for the software writer.

At a guess I've done approximately 15-20,000 TYRE planned miles.

I can't talk though..... Got to the German border last year and it looked like I had fallen off the edge or the world..... Think I had northern Europe instead of western Europe or visa versa. Either way is explains why my Tomtom rider didn't accept the Austrian TYRE route where as yours did.

I just hope the new device has much larger memory which would save annoying map swapping.

I also note the 'My Tomtom' connecting devices do not accept TYRE whereas 'Tomtom Home' devices do.

Makes me wonder if Tomtom had planned to do their own version of TYRE and have given up and decided to except it?
