well the solar panel went tits up, the diode went short circuit and flattened my battery, took it back and they are doing a special on a bigger model so they exchanged it for that , so far no probs and I can safely say that these do work _________________ |

I have a panel on the boat. Its a 60watt jobby from Eblagg. Cost me forty soves. I added a regulator as the output voltage is around 40 volts. It keeps my 300amp/hr bank charged all year.
Smaller panels don't really need a regulator. If you work on 10 watts per 100 amp/hrs then your near the mark.
The small cheapo units from maplin are........, well you get what you pay for..... |
