Went to leave for work this morning and the bloody battery was dead on the car. Phoned up work to tell them that I was going to be a bit late as i now had to put all my bike gear on and get it warmed up.
I knew the reserve light was on, but from the milage indicator on the clocks, I had plenty of petrol to get me to work............wrong. The petrol level must have reset the light when i was going round a bend last time i rode it and reset the milage to zero.
Conked out on the A24 about a mile short of the hops oast petrol station.
Started to push the bike but was becoming rather worried about the speed of the cars and lorries going past.
As luck would have it, my friend Marcus, who works the night shift, was going home and spotted me. He went and got me some petrol.
What an interesting start to the day.

wasnt today but what the hell ,
waking up at 130am friday morning to realise the wife hadnt booked the frikin tickets for begium.
tried to book late and got quoted £189 for the car instead of the usual £19
had to book for saturday night now which means ill be struggling to get up for sundays run with squeee
