10 years ago, my cousin and I rebuilt my Z1000J took it all the way down to the crankcases...now I am dithering about trying to decide if I should take my bike in to get new C&S fitted or do it myself.. I think age is a factor too Wink

Things that have pissed me off today (well its yesterday now).

Having a run in with 2 police motorcyclists in 1 day!

My boss acting like a child because I'd sooner go home than go and look at a bike with him.

A friend who works with me riding a ped around the industrial estate with no lid on.

My shitty FZR which is probably going to blow up very soon.

Not being able to pull a 1mm wheelie.

But apart from that my day was goooooood Rolling Eyes

Dunno, its got a knackered clutch, gearbox and brakes. I have some V&H friction plates which I'm hoping Craig at work will bung in today coz the springs should arrive today as well. The brakes are knackered as in the entire calipers, think it needs new pistons. The gearbox could just be the clutch so fingers crossed. I also knackered the can last night by trying to pull wheelies and generally ride home pissed off so the bike now sounds like a tractor! hahaha, never mind, it was bound to happen but I'll keep it and fix it coz I do love that FZR Very Happy

TLSchic sympathy

If it makes you feel any better:

I can't pull 1mm wheelie's either.

But then I haven't ever tried. Rolling Eyes

Hmmm, let me see, just over a Ton Evil or Very Mad

Could of bought the parts from http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ (VERY CHEAP for HONDA PARTS)

For around £ 20 and fitted them myself, however, thought it would be quicker to let a TRAINED HONDA mechanic do it instead.

Lesson learnt Crying or Very sad Exclamation

Crying or Very sad I have these silly prices to look forward too..
Bikes booked in to Honda Chiswick on the 3rd June
for the Tappets and Carb balance...
Forget what they quoted but was something like £45.00 Per hour..
wish I was on that A kick in the nuts is what i'd get if i asked my boss for that.
but it has to be done and I would'nt want to do it so so pay up is
all I can do. Crying or Very sad
