Great link WD 2 Thumbs up Don't know how you found it but what a brilliant result. Wetting myself looking at the bikecam shots, brings it all back ......

These are some of the runs that we will be doing, the first five can be done in one day and they are just so awesome that you just have to do them in the opposite direction a couple of days later.

This was the run we did in the snow Shocked Laughing

http://www.bikecam.ch/paesse/pass_nufenen.htm

http://www.bikecam.ch/paesse/pass_susten.htm

On this one, you put your bike on a train through the mountain (saves 100 mile ride) and then take the Simplon pass to Italy

http://www.bikecam.ch/paesse/pass_simplon.htm

Jaunpass is not as high but is just beautiful traveling west to east.

http://www.bikecam.ch/paesse/pass_jaunpass.htm

Brunigpass is also not that high but leads you to a fantastic run on narrow lowland roads to the west of the pass..

http://www.bikecam.ch/paesse/pass_bruenig.htm

As I said before I plan to go for at least two weeks

The first week would be for everyone who only has a week to spare and this would be in the Swiss Alps, as Lauterbrunnen is easy to get to from the UK and is simply amazing. The second week would be leaving cars and trailers behind in Lauterbrunnen and heading off to the Italian Dolomites to places like Selva and Cortina. That way it can be a one or two week break for those with more time.

Bottom line is that you can do your own thing if you like Wink Laughing

Hoping to finish it off over the next few days.
Was hoping to have it finished in time for our first get-together to discuss Tickler Deux.

Well there's a stunning 93% vote for 2008 Mexican wave

I will start a new thread in due course but I need to sound out what peeps think of late August and early September for the 2008 trip Question

The other option is June............ Can't recommend July/August, it can get pretty hot and very busy........

As mentioned this trip will be very flexible it could be 1 - 2 weeks or even longer for some Razz

I will detail this and cover it in further threads.

Just want a little feedback on dates Wink and length of trip

June or September is fine by me - and a week on the bike is plenty long enough.

Week one...... Swiss Alps (you've seen the passes) and day trips to Italy (Single stop stay in Lauterbrunnen) Optional paragliding, white water rafting and a bungee jump off the James Bond Dam Shocked

Week two..... For those with time.... multi-stop Switzerland, Austria and Italian Dolomites returning to Lauterbrunnen.

Options of drive there with trailers and vans etc (one day)

Ride there on bikes (two days)
