Which do you think is the preferred term? I personally prefer Biker as I feel that someone who describes themselves as a Motorcylist thinks of a Bike as no more than a form of transport, while a Biker is also into the social side of the bike world. _________________ That'll be Mr Horse to you http://www.wmmcc.co.uk/home/index.php/content/view/1/1/1/1/ |

Personally i dont care ...either or suits me ...what i hate is when the media associate vandals on bikes with the term biker and tar us all with the same brush. |

@ Tango
I put couldn't give a toss... generally though the term biker seems more apt for the Cruiser brigade - call it fashion riding perhaps...? and Motorcylist is someone more interested in the actual riding of the bike etc _________________

The two types can be generally classed as:-
BIKER - Someone for whom his bike and everything associated with his bike is a part of his life. The bike is a central part of their lives, and everything else revolves around it.
MOTORCYCLIST - Their bike is a useful tool, for getting to & from work, or enjoying at the weekend.
