Saw Biggus' comment in events and runs and it gave me an idea for a poll. |

It's eaten the last option I had! Can a moderator/admin add a poll option for "Still a learner or do not ride a motorbike" please. |

Jan 03 for me (I think) so 4 years.
The real question should be how many miles have you done. Biggus and I have the same amount of time experience since passing our tests, but his mileage is way up on mine. I have probably done 24,000 miles in that time, whereas I think Biggus is already over 40,000 miles! |

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting that holding a licence for a long time makes you a better rider (or driver) - only have to look at the way some really old farts who have had full car licences forever drive to see that unfortunately. |

I passed mine on 03 Dec 99 ( I'm not really that sad, it's printed on the back of my licence ) so about 7.5 years and I've ridden around 62000 miles since _________________ That'll be Mr Horse to you http://www.wmmcc.co.uk/home/index.php/content/view/1/1/1/1/ |

Indeed I am... The CB1300 is on 48,000 miles, and I've done a further 3-4,000 on the firestorm. Plus a few thousand here and there on borrowed bikes Don't seem to get to ride as much these days _________________

I passed my test last Oct 20th - that makes it roughly 4600 miles in 7.5 months. The Tickler run ought to help me make up mileage lost during the winter months! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

It's all 'cos of DAS. Means that someone having a mid life crisis can wake up one morning and think "I really fancy riding a motorcycle" and 'cos they dont have to do all the L plate bollox first. That's exactly what they do
Passed mine in 1990. I was riding on and off (bans permitting) for 10 years or so prior to that as well. _________________ The lunatics have finally taken over the asylum |
