I'd really love to do this but I'm rarely able to do runs. I'll investigate how much I'd have to bribe and beg my teenager to little-sister-sit for the day... When we were in France last month I looked out of the windows and dreamed about how nice it'd be to ride on some of their roads. As ever, I'm working on it, but don't put me on the list until I'm sure I can go. |

If your looking for a good route for the day you could do a lot worse than speaking to Ninja Bob. I'm sure he will also recommend the coast road through Sarangatte to Boulogne. A great way to start the day
Unfortunately I've already got plans for the 15th passport or no passport. |

That £26 was for a weekend trip so you may get it cheaper for a one day trip, i haven't phoned to ask yet.
If anyone has sorted recovery yet let us know who with and how much you got it for |

Already using RAC personal recovery for ALL family situations + cars + bikes in UK. Bike already insured with Bennetts for Europe. Bennetts European recovery (including UK) cost £56.74p per annum. They do like a telephone call with details of trip as it is then on computer should you call for assistance. By the way, I believe the current UK motorway call out rate should you run out of petrol is about £50 for 5 litres/1 gallon. |

My insurance co was quoting me about £55 for a year euro recovery as well, but as I was only planning on taking the bike abroad once this year (oct) i went for the RAC at £26 for the weekend. The insurance co didn't do weekend cover, it was either a year or nothing.

Kin expensive when you divide it by three days, but can see why ya don't want to fork out the additional £29. But when little trips to France get posted up at least i do not have to be limited by this sort of dilema
I will have used mine for 10 days by the end of the year so at least i feel i'm not getting seen off, too much! _________________ Speed Limits are Minimums and remember Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one
