Just had a call from a lifelong friend inviting me to his wedding in September, amongst his other invited guests will be my ex wife & new husband (former close friend of mine...   ).
We separated & divorced in 2002 and I've been dreading having to make a decision like this. I've not seen her in 6 years apart from on the day of my first bike test 5 years ago and one or 2 occassions since passing her in the damn car I bought her and raising a boot to take off the mirror (but never going through with it... )I would be lying if I said I'm not bitter about things as she proper fcuked me over financially and of course emotionally.
What would you do?

That is a tough one
It would be nice to think you could go ignore them and have a good time. But if she fucked you over there is always the chance that you might loose it after a couple of drinks and twat the pair of them.
Maybe as Tink says you could find some sweet eye candy, who has the added bonus of being able to remind you its your mates wedding, and you should wait until the couple has left before doing anything if you get riled. |
