It is that time of the year again when I start to have doubts about motorbiking (If nothing else I am at least predictable).
A lot of the issue being that unless the weather is sunny and 20+ degrees, I cannot be bothered to get on the bike. If I do get out I then do not get the usual buzz from riding. |

C'mon dont be like that i cast a vote, i was just messin lol
I cant talk from experiance (so maybe i shouldn't) BUT honda do have a reputation of being the safe *but solid* bet, maybe something a bit more taxing like a GSXR1000 or a Z1000 would challenge you a bit more? a change is as good as a rest and all that *info courtsey of bike magazine* lol _________________ "It's not the years in your life but the life in your years..."

At the end of the day riding a motorcycle is not a necessity for most of us so its important that you enjoy the ride. If that isn't happening then its not for you! But, by most accounts motorcycles like the Blade are "intense" and that may be influencing your appreciation of the actual ride?
Try something a little different (I'd go for the Brutale ) and that may rekindle the love affair.
If not just ride your bicycle and go fishing . _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

I know how you feel Marc. I might just get rid of the Bandit and get a traillie for some off road stuff maybe
Got to do something to re-light the fire as at the moment I just cannae be arsed anymore
I would suggest you maybe sell the Blade and get another style of bike and see how you go |

I think we all feel like this sometimes and if you sold your bike you'd only go out and buy another in a while. Perhaps you should force yourself to go out more as most of my best rides have not been on sunny days. _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

Have voted for you to get something with more emotion/ fun factor
However what you do seem to enjoy is track days, what would suit them more?
Good luck and hope you get yr mojo back |

its a bit like sex mate, there's more than one way to do it and its more fun if you oil up first....
think you've prob been riding in the wrong company or the wrong roads. plan a trip out one weekend and go to the ardennes and back....that'll sort you right out my well spoken rotund chum.
oh, and take me with you!

Good advice - get out of the UK for the day and into France for an away day - something like I have posted in the Touring section - it may change your opinion.
I am in a mind to take a day off soon and do one of these - costs are minimal £26 on the chunnel and you can do 350-400 miles of sheer enjoyment right from the exit to the tunnel. I'll post up if the weather changes for the better if there is interest. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.
