Well, its looking like the end of the road for the Legend Sad Only got 20000 miles out of it Sad

Has just had a new airbox, coupla gaskets, carbs thoroughly cleaned out with compressed air, engine flush, new oil filter, etc, etc ....but, soon as I hit 40mph there is a horrible rattle Sad

Apexer thinks its gotta be the gearbox Sad

So ...what do I do with it? (bearing in mind that I am exceptionally skint at the moment! and that it has 38000 miles on the clock!)

Do I try to sell it privately?
Do I say in the ad that the gearbox is gone? or just that it has developed a bit of a strange rattle of late?
How much would someone pay for something like that?

Do I try to sell it to a trader? Would they even consider it?

Or do I take it to pieces and sell it bit by bit on e-bay?

Sell the bits - I reckon you'll get more for it that way
